Events Programme
We have designed a national, integrated and accessible events programme to help public sector agencies understand the role that the third sector can play in service delivery and design and to provide the tools and techniques to enable greater engagement between the sectors.
1. National Engagement Events
Over the course of 2012 we will deliver a series of information and dissemination events to explain the programme objectives and stimulate debate. We see these events as an opportunity for commissioners and senior procurement officers to input their own ideas into the programme content and structure.
2. Local Engagement Events
We will arrange a series of events across Scotland targeted at bringing shared understanding between the public sector commissioning and procurement community and the third sector at a local level. Senior staff from leading third sector organisations will take part in dialogue and discussion with local public sector representatives and actions to stimulate future engagement will be identified.
3. Workshops
We will deliver a series of practical workshops covering a range of themes including Community Benefit Clauses, the PSP commissioning model and the use of social impact measurement in procurement.
These workshops will be arranged at a local level and will be delivered by experts in each field. They will be designed to provide procurement professionals with practical skills and knowledge that they can apply in their day to day jobs.
Our events programme will be launched soon and will be published here.
